Second meeting of Subcommittee for Cooperation on Military Matters held
The second meeting of the Subcommittee for Cooperation on Military Matters of the Joint Serbia-China Committee was held in Belgrade today.
The Serbian delegation was headed by Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Predrag Bandić, while the Chinese delegation was headed by Major General Guo Hongtao, Deputy Director of the Office for International Military Cooperation of the Central Military Commission of the People’s Republic of China.The topics discussed at the meeting encompassed overall relations between the Republic of Serbia and the People’s Republic of China, opportunities to elevate these ties to an even higher level, as well as the political and security situation across the Western Balkans, Europe, East Asia, and the Middle East.
The participants highlighted the importance of continuous military-political dialogue and agreed that preserving peace remains a key foreign policy priority for both nations. In accordance with this principle, they reaffirmed their support for dialogue and adherence to international law.
