Minister Rodic meets with the director of RACVIAC
Minister of Defence Nebojsa Rodic talked today with the direcor of the RACVIAC the Center for Security Cooperation ambassador Branimir Mandic.
It was estimated that RACVIAC is one of the most important international organizations in security in the SEE, which will have an important place in the future. The representatives of the MoD and SAF as well as other institutions are actively participating in the activities of the center (conferences, workshops, round tables, seminars and courses).In October this year the Republic of Serbia took over a one year presidency of the RACVIAC multinational council group and it will continue to actively participate and support the Center through an annual contribution and the work of defence attaches of the MoD in RACVIAC. IN April 2014 in Belgrade the 31st session of multinational council group of RACVIAC will take place with Serbia as the host of the Conference in search and rescue function.
„Regional cooperation, as a precondition of EU integrations is one of Serbia’s foreign policy priorities.
The Republic of Serbia aims at promoting the development and declaring its national capacities into regional centers through regional initiatives: the RCBD center, Military Medical Academy and the Militray Hispital Nis, Jug military base, the center for peace operations, and the center for delaboration of ammunition and arms-TRZ Kragujevac.
