President congratulates the day of the VBA



On the occasion of 12th November, the Day of the Military Security Agency, I wish to continue to receive success in realizing their professional goals and complicated tasks.

In the previous period the Military Security Agency has effectively executed complex tasks of security and counterintelligence protection of defense of the Republic of Serbia.

In terms of the increasing challenges of modern security environment, the Military Security Agency has achieved outstanding results in the protection of the Serbian Army and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia organized criminal activities, corruption, terrorist threats, acts of extremist organizations and other security threats.

As one of the key factors of security and intelligence system, VBA has been and is a guarantee of stability of the defense system, but also the security of the Republic of Serbia.

This is the result of high professionalism and dedicated involvement of all members of VBA as well as their successful cooperation with other national security agencies and government bodies, as well as related regional and international agencies and organizations.

In carrying out its mission - the preservation of stability and security as well as promotion of contemporary security environment - VBA has and will support all the organs and institutions of the Republic of Serbia.

To all members of the VBA I once again congratulate the holiday, wishing you to still achieve professional goals, make great contributions to the defense of security for all citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
