Cooperation between the University of Defence and the University of Arts
Chancellor of the University of Defence Lt. Gen. prof. Dr. Miodrag Jevtic and rector of the University of Arts in Belgrade professor Ljiljana Popovic Mrkic signed a cooperation agreement the two institutions.
The agreement establishes cooperation among universities in all areas of university education and academic practices.
The chancellor of the University of Defence expressed his satisfaction that the universities have recognized the need for cooperation.- We cannot live without beauty, or art. This is the purpose of life. Universities should cooperate in the interest of the community. Let this be just the beginning of cooperation. Vision is not controversial because both we and the Arts University share the same vision, all we need to do is transform it into something good and creative, as General Jevtic said, the chancellor of the .
The chancellor of the University of Arts also expressed her satisfaction.
- Our University cooperates with all universities in Serbia. The mission of Arts University is nurturing young creative artists and cultivating the national spirit and national integrity. I believe that the combination of the two universities is ideal for the above vision, as dr Mrkic Popovic said.
The agreement includes the organization of teaching and scientific research and program implementation in all forms and levels of study from all educational and research areas that are being developed at the two universities. Cooperation will be conducted on scientific projects of common and regional importance, and will be reflected in the application of new knowledge, technologies and innovations in order to improve the quality of higher standards.
