Change of command at NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade



Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, attended the change of command ceremony at the NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade.
  Italian Brigadier General Giampiero Romano has taken over as Chief of NATO Military Liaison Office in Belgrade from Italian Brigadier General Antonello Zaniti.

Addressing the gathering, the commander of Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples, Admiral Stuart Munsch, said that NATO respected Serbia's military neutrality and pointed out that the partnership with our country was getting stronger. According to him, Serbia and NATO continue to enjoy cooperation and have a long track record of working together to promote peace and stability in the region. Munsch said that Serbia and NATO would continue to work to ensure that peace was not undermined.
  The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić, KFOR Commander Major General Angelo Ristuccia, as well as representatives of the diplomatic and military-diplomatic corps.
