A concert "An Evening of Romanticism" at the Central Military Club




 
Stanislav Binički Artistic Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence has held tonight, at the Central Military Club, a concert "An Evening of Romanticism" from the cycle "We have chosen it for you". The soloist of this evening's concert was pianist Ana Kovačevič and conductor Draško Janković.
 
The audience enjoyed in the programme - F. Mendelssohn's The Hebrides Overture, F. Liszt's Piano Concerto No.  1 in E♭ major and F. Schubert Symphony No 8 B minor Unfinished
 
Ana Kovačević was born in 1988 in Belgrade. She graduated from the elementary music school "Vladimir Đorđević" in the class of Prof.  Jelena Filotić as a pupil of generation and piano and theoretical section at the secondary music school "Josip Slavenski" in the class of Prof.  Olga Bauer. During her education she was intensively studying with Prof.  Aleksandar Bauer. At the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of Prof.  Jokut Mihailović graduated with the highest grade, she completed her specialisation and started her doctoral studies. She is a winner of a prize from the Slobodanka Milošević Savić Fund for the best student of the piano section.  She attended seminars of Alexander Sinchuk, Mihail Ude and Arba Valdme. She has worked at the secondary music school "Davorin Jenko" as a piano professor since 2012.
 
Draško Janković was born in Belgrade in 1972. He received elementary music education at the "Davorin Jenko" school at the clarinet section, and he also graduated from the lower music school "Stankovic", on the percussion section. After the secondary music school "Stanković" he entered the Faculty of Music Arts, where he is in the class of Prof.  Miroslav Karlović graduated with the title of a percussionist musician.
 
Since 1998, he has been a permanent member of the opera of the National Theater in Belgrade, where he is working today.
