The march of the Military Orchestra Nis began by the performance at King Milan Square and continued in Obrenoviceva Street and King Aleksandar Square. The citizens of Nis had an opportunity to enjoy the marches “The March on the Drina”, “My homeland”, “Field Marshal Stepa Stepanovic”, “Aleksandar I”, “Milan Obrenovic” and many others. The conductor of the military orchestra was Captain Dejan Djordjevic.

The ceremonial march in Belgrade was opened at the entrance to Knez Mihailova Street with the performance of the most famous Serbian march “The March on the Drina”. During the march, at several points, the Representative Orchestra of the Guard played seven more compositions. Strollers in Knez Mihailova Street had a chance to enjoy the marches dedicated to the great Serbian rulers Milos Obrenovic, Peter I Karadjordjevic, King Milan and Aleksandar. The Orchestra of the Guard showed they also knew somewhat easier notes by performing jazz and pop compositions such as Saint Louis Blues, Superstition, with thunderous applause from the audience. One could see children trying to imitate the marching step and recording videos in memory of this attractive event.

The march ended in front of Kalemegdan, where the audience once again listened to “The March on the Drina”.
