Minister Đorđević received a silver volleyball player Bjanka Busa



Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic met today with volleyball player Bjanka Busa, the national team member who was part of our national team that won the silver medal at the just finished Olympic Games in Rio, and with her father, Lieutenant Colonel Nikola Busa, a pilot serving in the Air Force and Air Defence Command.
 
Congratulating on winning the silver medal, Minister Djordjevic expressed his satisfaction with the success of women's volleyball team. He also stressed the importance of going in for sports, as well as a great sacrifice and efforts that professional athletes must invest on their way to winning the medal stand. During today's meeting, the defence minister rewarded the proud father, Lieutenant Colonel Busa, for the support offered during the decade of strenuous volleyball trainings and preparations which undoubtedly contributed to the success of the young team member Bjanka.
 
Speaking about the impressions from the Olympic Games, especially the semi-final match when our women's volleyball team triumphed, Bianca, who plays at the position of a receiver of service, did not hide her joy and satisfaction over the success achieved. According to her, although there was a bit of stage fright as she sat on the bench, at the invitation of the coach to enter the game, jitters disappeared and was replaced by the adrenaline that contributed to the good performance and the success of our national team members.
 
Twenty-two-year-old Bianca, after a well-deserved rest, is to have the new season in Italy, and, as she says, the gained silver medal will be an incentive for further successes in her career.
