Members of the Serbian Armed Forces winners in the competition in the UK



The team of the Serbian Armed Forces won the first place in the individual and team placements in the discipline pistol in a competition held in the UK, which was organized by the First Division of the British Army.

The competition was organized in disciplines pistol Glock 17 and rifle SA 80. Members of the Special Brigade conducted ten very demanding live firings from both types of weapons and, in competition with 23 teams, in the discipline of pistol they took first place in the team placement, Sergeant First Class Jovica Bubalo took first place in the individual placement. In the discipline rifle, the team of the Serbian Armed Forces took the seventh place.

At the closing of the competition, the most successful were presented the awards by the commander of the First Division, Major General Giles Hill, who stressed the importance of fire training for each army and commended members of the Serbian Armed Forces for the results achieved.

Members of the First Royal Irish Regiment ( "1 IRISH"), who continue the tradition of the divisions 10, 16and 36, units that fought together with the Serbian army during the breakthrough of the Salonika front, were the hosts of our units.
