The tenth anniversary of the Retired Non-Commissioned Officers Association in Nis
A jubilee celebration of the tenth anniversary of the work of Retired Non-Commissioned Officers Association has been held today in Nis. The ceremony was attended by Assistant Minister of Human Resources Milos Jankovic, Army Commander Lieutenant General MilosavSimovic, representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian ArmedForces and other guests.Assistant Minister for Human Resources Milos Jankovic conferred to the President of the City Board of the Association of the Retired Non-Commissioned Officers in Nis,Milorad Petkovic, a plaque for successful work in the past ten years and wished the Association in the following years to be useful to their country and for generations to come.
Chairman of the City Board of the Association of Retired Non-Commissioned Officers in Nis Milorad Petkovic in his speech referred to the ten years of struggle for the protection of the acquired rights in the field of financial, housing and health issues, as well as preserving and improving the social status of the continent. At the ceremony,establishments, institutions and individuals were conferred charters, plaques and acknowledgments for the excellent cooperation with the association over the past ten years, while members of the Nis Military Orchestra, reciters and soloists performed on the musical instruments a cultural and artistic programme.
