Minister Djordjevic visits Holding Company "Krusik" in Valjevo



Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic has visited today Holding Company a.d. "Krusik" in Valjevo, where he met with the management of that factory of defence industries and representatives of trade unions.

The meeting was attended by Acting Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradovic, PhD, Deputy Commander of JOC Major General Slavoljub Janicijevic and Head of Department for Planning and Development of the Serbian Armed Forces Major General Dusan Stojanovic.

Director of the "Krusik" company Mladen Petkovic presented to the Minister of Defence operating results in 2015 and the company's plans for 2016 and 2017. He stressed that "Krusik" has contracted 140 million which provided employment to full capacity for this and the next year.

According to the Director, in the previous two years and in the current year, due to the increased amount of work, more than 500 people were employed, and two investment projects whose implementation is underway will open 190 new jobs.

At the meeting it was pointed out that through realization of the investment projects, by the end of the year, "Krusik" will circle out technological processes of production of mortar, artillery, rocket artillery and missile programmes.

After the meeting, Minister Djordjevic visited the production facilities of the factory with the associates and management of "Krusik".
