State Secretary Nikolic at the Aeronautics fair in Burge

The delegation of the Ministry of Defense led by Secretary of State Alexander Nikolic is participating in the 50th Aviation Salon to be held in Bourget, France.In the traditional, 50 Fair of aeronautics, which present the most important actors of the global aerospace industry, the Secretary of State Nikolic had a series of meetings with representatives of the leading companies in the field.
Nikolic held talks with representatives of the companies in the aviation industry – THALES, ELBIT, RAFAEL, MBDA and MIG thus informed them that Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia was very much interested in purchasing certain assets of their products, as well as in the modalities of cooperation in developing joint projects.
During a visit to the Fair, Secretary Nikolic met with Libyan Minister of Defense Mohamed Mahmoud Moussa Barghaty. Nikolic said that MoD was taking action to improve defense cooperation with the country, and that the Department of Defense, consistent with the available capacity, was striving to meet the demands of Libya.

Furthermore, secretary of State Nikolic met with the Secretary of State of Spnish MoD Pedro A. Salavery Both sides expressed satisfaction with the level of defense cooperation and discussed the modalities for improvement in the future.The program of the visit envisions that the Secretary of State Nikolic meet with representatives of the companies EADS EUROCOPTER, AEROTEC ADRIATIC SAFRAN, SAGEM FINMECCANICA and others.
State Secretary Nikolic is also to meet with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France.
