She pointed out that the gym renovation project was 300, 000 USD worth, and was a donation by the European Command and U.S. armed forces while the Ohio National Guard sent additional 32 soldiers from the Army and Air Force.

"It gives me great pleasure to see - said Mary Warlick - the Ohio National Guard members working hard and successfully together with the members of the Serbian Army on the renovation of the gym in elementary school."

The commander of the Army Second Brigade Colonel Milic Stanic emphasized that intensive cooperation between the Serbian Army and Ohio National Guard dated back to 2006, with the establishment of the State Partnership Program, which in addition to military cooperation also includes economic, cultural and other forms of cooperation.

"Serbian Army has developed a particularly successful cooperation in the area of civil-military cooperation. The Second Brigade is participating in the "humanitarian assistance" with 20 NCOs and professional soldiers, transport and medical capacities. I believe that we will successfully complete the project only to present it to the school and the city on 3 September.
