Primary School Pupils from Kosovo and Metohija Visit Military Academy



Today, pupils and teachers of the primary school “Sveti Sava” from Žerovnica in Zvečan Municipality from Kosovo and Metohija visited the Military Academy.
Head of the Military Academy, Colonel Associate Professor Srđan Blagojević welcomed the pupils from Kosovo and Metohija, and he, together with his associates, informed the guests about the rich history of that high educational military institution, its capacities, importance for the system of military education and significance for the education of future generations of Serbian Armed Forces officers.
The pupils from Zvečan toured the memorial room of the Military Academy, the sports centre, and during the tour of cadets’ rooms, the cadets of the Military Academy and Medical Faculty of the MMA conveyed their impressions of the education and life at the Military Academy, and they talked to the pupils about their motives for officers’ career. They completed their visit to the Military Academy in the cadets’ restaurant, where they had an opportunity to try the famous soldiers’ beans.
Earlier today, the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić received the pupils from Kosovo and Metohija, and their stay in Belgrade was a chance for them to visit the National Assembly and the Assembly of the City of Belgrade.

The visit was organised by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, Office for Kosovo and Metohija, and the Association of War Volunteers 1912-1918, their descendants and admirers with the honorary President, General Milorad Stupar.
