State Secretary Starović meets with president of Governing Council for International Scientists of Nigerian Chamber of Business and Industry Umeadi
State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Nemanja Starović met today with the president of the Governing Council for International Scientists of the Nigerian Chamber of Business and Industry, Prof. Michael Umeadi.
State Secretary Starović expressed gratitude for Nigeria’s principled and consistent support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, stating that the two countries, although geographically distant from each another, cultivate traditionally good and friendly relations.Later in the conversation, State Secretary Starović said that he sees potential for further development of defence cooperation and overall bilateral relations between the two countries.
Prof. Umeadi emphasized Nigeria's determination to improve cooperation, which, according to him, will significantly contribute to the further strengthening of overall bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
At the end of the meeting, the two men once again expressed their expectation that the number of bilateral activities will increase in the coming period, which will help further develop defence cooperation.
