Training on Artillery Missile System
Collective training of members of the Mixed Artillery Brigade is taking place in training areas and grounds near Niš aimed at providing training in the use of 128mm self-propelled multi-barrel rocket launcher “Plamen-S”.
This is a new cycle of training on this rocket system, which is carried out throughout the year in order to maintain the high level of competence to provide fire support to Serbian Armed Forces while executing operations.
In this training period, the crews practice the emplacement of firing position, timely detection of goals and execution of indirect firing, which is applied when there is no optical visibility of the target. The training is modelled in accordance with given standards and norms for efficient firing from this combat asset intended for the execution of resolute, sudden and swift fire assaults against targets of exceptional importance and great scale both on land and water.
The continuous realisation of the training in the Mixed Artillery Brigade ensures superb competence of members of this unit for the use of artillery and rocket systems, which consequently enables a high-level of combat readiness of this Army unit.
