Members of Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces at 11th International Sports Fair
Members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, cadets of the Military Academy and students of military high schools are promoting the military profession, military educational establishments and military sports at the 11th International Sports Fair, which is being held from 23rd to 25th September at Ada Ciganlija.
On the first day of the Fair, the stand of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces attracted the attention of numerous visitors who had the opportunity to find our first-hand about the conditions for the enrolment on military schools and the possibilities for applying for voluntary military service. Also, interested citizens got familiarised with the successes achieved by military athletes at national and international competitions, and with attention that is attached by the Serbian Armed Forces to physical fitness training and sports.
The MoD and SAF stand was visited by top military athletes - the Olympic athletes, members of the Judo Sport unit Aleksandar Kukolj and shooter Dimitrije Grgić, who took the opportunity to talk to young men and women about their achieved results.
This year’s Sports Fair dubbed “Dreams of a Victor” is traditionally organised by the Sport Association of Serbia under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The admission to this event is free, and the visitors will have an opportunity to try out many sport activities, and to socialise with renowned athletes.
