Minister Stefanović talks to best Military Technical Institute's researchers



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, talked today to the best Military Technical Institute’s researchers who have received monetary awards for this year’s achievements in the development of weapons and military equipment.
Stefanović congratulated the researchers on their achievements and thanked them for putting their knowledge at the service of strengthening our armed forces and homeland.

"I am proud that we have such engineers, ready to work for their country, and I’m also proud that their work is appreciated today, which wasn’t the case in the past. I expect our researchers to continue working even harder, and the state will show them that their commitment to strong armed forces and a strong Serbia is appreciated," said Stefanović.

The best researchers have received financial incentives. Colonel Aleksandar Kari received a bonus amounting to four and a half monthly salaries, and Lieutenant David Trivunović and civilian Nikola Radovanović received bonuses amounting to five and a half salaries each.  A total of 487 researchers employed by the Military Technical Institute, the Čačak Technical Overhaul Institute and members of SAF units were awarded financial incentives for notable results achieved in the development and testing of weapons and military equipment.

The Assistant Minister for Material Resources, Nenad Miloradović, PhD, and the Head of the Defence Technologies Department, Colonel Slavko Rakić also attended today's meeting between the Minister of Defence and the best researchers.
