Minister of Defence sends congratulatory message for 72nd Special Operations Brigade Day
In honour of 27 January, the 72nd Special Operations Brigade Day, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, sent a congratulatory message to members of the Brigade stating:
"Brave, determined, highly trained and incredibly persistent.The best of the best - members of our 72nd Special Operations Brigade.
You proved your heroism in difficult times by not surrendering and not having a dilemma - you bravely defended your people with all your heart and strength.
Today, in peacetime, you are our homeland’s steel bulwark against all dangers and threats. A bulwark that guarantees Serbia’s security and stability and a carefree life to our citizens. A bulwark that proves that Serbia has someone to take care of it.
We are proud of you. We are proud to have a unit such as the 72nd Brigade which never runs away from a challenge and whose heart beats faithfully for Serbia, shielding it from harm.
Your homeland must show you how much it appreciates this and that is why we continue to invest in your training, equipment, working conditions and improvement of your standard of living. This year, we will continue to invest in you and prove how much Serbia appreciates your dedication, effort and work, and what an honour it is to have such people in our ranks.
Dear members of the 72nd Brigade, I congratulate you on your anniversary, hoping that you will be up to every task in the future as well!"
