Psychological support for members of MoD and SAF during isolation, self-isolation and treatment



Members of the MoD and SAF who are in isolation, self-isolation or are being treated for COVID-19 in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces can seek psychological support in the following way:

In the organizational units of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces where there is a psychologist, these units’ psychologists will provide psychological support by phone to members of their staff. Immediate superiors will inform members of their staff about the possibility of receiving psychological support if needed, and provide them with the phone numbers of competent psychologists who will then contact them.
 
Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces whose units do not have psychologists can seek support from the psychologists working for the Human Resources Sector’s Personnel Department, at 011/3203-331 (ext. 32-331) or 064/8874-650 on working days from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by sending an email to the following address - psiholog@mod.gov.rs.

Also, current topics and information on how to behave in order to cope with the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and the mechanisms of dealing with stress and crisis, as well as other news and information on various psychological topics that can be useful to members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces in order to preserve and improve mental health and strengthen psychological capacity in everyday life and work, as well as in emergencies, will still be available at www.psiholog.mod.gov.rs.
