Donation of TV sets to Military Health Service

Colonel Dr Uglješa Jovičić, Head of the Military Health Department, and Ms Koviljka Lončar, Managing Director of the Mozzart company, signed an Agreement on Donation of TV sets, at the Military Medical Academy, today.

The signing of the Agreement was attended by Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, who thanked Mozzart for showing understanding for the needs of all our patients and for showing how a socially responsible company should behave.

- People who make profit here, among these people, have decided to invest a part of their profit in the quality of life of all their fellow citizens. In this way, the quality of life of our patients will be better and days that have never been good and much happy when you are in the hospital, in this way will be better and pass faster and easier. In this way, all our patients will have a better quality of life and, after all, all our employees will have the opportunity to help all our patients in this way. Each of our hospital rooms will be equipped with a modern television set and it will definitely mean a lot to us, and more than anything it will mean to our patients - Minister Vulin emphasized.

According to him, the Serbian Armed Forces is the most respected and the most loved institution in our nation.

- It means a lot when we see that representatives of the business community recognize us, understand our needs and want to help us. I thank “Mozzart” company because they made this great and significant donation to the Serbian Armed Forces and dedicated it to our patients, and I would really like if many other companies also behaved in a socially responsible as the “Mozzart” company, Minister Vulin said.

Ms Koviljka Lončar, Director of the “Mozzart” company, emphasized that this is just another socially responsible action that this company has been practicing for many years.

- It is an honour for us that we had the opportunity to help this institution, and we are certainly glad that this institution has recognized us as a partner. I would like to thank Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin for his generous support to implement this action in the best possible way, which is to donate TV sets to the health institution of the Ministry of Defence - Director Lončar said.

Colonel Uglješa Jovičić, Head of the Military Health Department, thanked the “Mozzart” company for the valuable and important donation of 400 TV sets to equip military medical facilities throughout Serbia.

- Successful treatment and good treatment of all patients requires high expertise, dedication and devotion, good medical equipment and good drugs, but it is very important that we make a good atmosphere, create environment that will be pleasant for patients while they are staying in military health care institutions so that they recover as soon as possible - Colonel Jovičić said, thanking “Mozzart” company for recognizing the importance of this segment in the treatment of patients.

Within the action of donation of TV-sets to the health institutions throughout Serbia, “Mozzart” company donated to the Ministry of Defence 400 TV-sets worth about EUR 100,000, which will be enough to equip the entire Military Health Service.
