Improvement of the Capacities of Military High Schools



Considering the concept of development of the Military High Vocational School, or the education of NCOs for the duties in the units of the Serbian Armed Forces, was the topic of a meeting which Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Ljubiša Diković held today with representatives of the Military Academy, University of Defence, Human resources, training and doctrine  department of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces and Personnel Department of the Sector for Human Resources of the Ministry of Defence.
 
It was concluded that the capacities of the Military High Vocational School and Military Grammar School of the University of Defence should be expanded but it should be done in a way of considering the capabilities of these educational institutions.
 
To open new classes, apart from accommodation capacities of the Military Grammar School, it is necessary to look into the possibilities for the change of its organisational scheme and conditions for the increase in teaching staff.
 
It was established at the meeting that it was necessary to observe the provisions of the Law on the foundations of the system of education and Law on dual education while developing curriculum and syllabus.
