Minister Vulin meets Ambassador Chepurin



Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade Alexander Chepurin, accompanied by the Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence Major General Ranko Živak, have visited today the Batajnica airport where new MiG-29 aircraft donated by the Russian Federation were stored and where the anniversary of Belgrade liberation will be celebrated on 20th October.
 
During today's meeting of Minister Vulin and Ambassador Chepurin, it was noted that the Russian Federation highly appreciates the policy of military neutrality of the Republic of Serbia.
 
It was also stressed that the Republic of Serbia was grateful for the principled policy of the Russian Federation in the fight to preserve territorial integrity and sovereignty in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija.
 
Minister Vulin and Ambassador Chepurin together highlighted the successful bilateral military cooperation between the two countries, and they are also consentient in the assessment that the overall relations of the two countries have been significantly improved thanks to mutual trust and personal relations between the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
