Acquisition for the Armed Forces remains a priority

When asked to comment on Dmitry Shugaev's statement on the sale of the S 300 missile system to Serbia, Minister Vulin confirmed and reminded that the agreement on the delivery of MiG 29 aircraft is being implemented as it was concluded and is in accordance with the agreed dates.

- By the end of the year, we will have the opportunity to see our MiGs and they will be introduced into our system, our sky will be safer, our army stronger and better equipped. What we have not done for decades behind us, we are working on now, and the Serbian Armed Forces will be able to compare itself with all armies in the region. As for the procurement of the S 300 system, it is not something on which you can make a decision overnight, it is not something on which you can make a decision without the appropriate documents, it is not something on which you can make a decision without a proper budget and the whole country's consent to do something - Minister Vulin emphasized.

According to him, we, just as any other armed forces, can always consider the possibility of buying new systems, and we are always exploring the space where we can get them and the mentioned statement should be observed in that sense as well.
