Snap Combat Readiness Inspection of Rapid Response Force units completed



Verification of operational capabilities of a part of Rapid Response Force units of the Serbian Armed Forces that began with the alarm in the Serbian Armed Forces Operational Centre three days ago, has been completed this night at various locations throughout Serbia.

 Defence Minister Zoran Đorđević visited part of forces at the Independent Automated Shooting Range "Međa" near Bojnik.
 
- The extraordinary inspection of part of rapid response force included the part of forces of the Special Brigade and Military Police. The inspection was carried out at several locations in Serbia and tonight, I saw first-hand, after day and night live firings, that the units were fully prepared for all tasks - Minister Đorđević concluded.
 
In the Serbian Armed Forces, the Minister of Defence emphasized, regular and extraordinary inspections carried out, but such a complex form of verification of forces was carried out for the first time after many decades.
 
- Capabilities of many units within the rapid response forces were verified at different locations at the same time.  This practice will continue also in the future, because it showed to increase the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces - Minister Đorđević pointed out.
 
Verification of capabilities of the part of rapid response forces was completed last night, performing day and night live firings at shooting ranges and training grounds in the vicinity of Bojnik, Valjevo and Vršac.
 
In the Defence Inspectorate, today,  analysis of the extraordinary inspection has been carried out led by Director of the Defence Inspectorate Major General Goran Radovanović. General Radovanovic noted that the forces for immediate action fully responded to all the demands of the inspectors and showed a remarkable level of qualification for the execution of complex tasks.
