On that occasion, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Nenad Neric and the US Ambassador in Belgrade Kyle Scott have assessed that the cooperation on archive digitalization, its exchange and availability to researchers renders new quality to the fruitful bilateral cooperation between two countries. The interlocutors have stressed the special importance of the Memorandum taking into account the fact that the process of establishing cooperation between the Serbian Military Archive and the US Holocaust Museum finished just before marking the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on 27th January.

The Republic of Serbia and the USA have recorded the strong allied relations during two world wars and invested efforts in order to prevent great sufferings during those difficult historical periods. The establishment of this mode of collaboration is directed to providing possibilities to the future generations to have the access to relevant information.
