Gold medals to members of the Ministry of Defence at the exhibition "Inventions – Belgrade 2016"




Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces have traditionally participated with their innovations of arms and military equipment in the 34th International Exhibition of Inventions, New Technologies and Industrial Design "Inventions – Belgrade 2016" which was held in the Air Force and Air Defence Club in Zemun, from 26 to 30 September 2016.

In the category of inventions, the expert jury awarded gold medals to members of the Strategic Planning Department of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant Colonel docent Dalibor Petrovic, PhD, and retired Colonel Obrad Cabarkapa, PhD, for invention of the "Elastic element for provision of casting and changes of accommodation angle (step) of the rigid rotor blades",

Also, the expert jury awarded the golden plaque with a gold medal with image of Nikola Tesla to the Krusik Holding corporation from Valjevo for the following inventions: "The new procedure of filling missiles with white phosphorus in the protection zone of phosphorus pentoxide", "81/82mm long-range special purpose mortar ammunition (smoke and illuminating) with ETU, M365 lighter" and "Electronic time-lighter ETU, M365", confirming thereby the quality of inventions of the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.

At this year's exhibition, which was organized on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Association of Inventors and Technical Improvement Authors of Belgrade and in the year in which they celebrate the 160th anniversary of the birth of Nikola Tesla, 18 countries took part and over 100 exhibitors presented themselves.

The main organizer of the exhibition, Association of Inventors and Authors of Technical Improvements Belgrade, awarded the traditional co-organizer – the Strategic Planning Department of the Defence Policy Sector, with letter of thanks for its contribution to holding the well-attended exhibitions.
