The last phase of modernization of “MiG-29s” starts



Today, the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, accompanied by the Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence, Major General Duško Žarković, visited the 204th Air Brigade at the military airport “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović“ in Batajnica.
The Commander of the 204th Air Brigade, Colonel Brane Krnjajić, presented Minister Vulin with framed coats of arms of units subordinate to the 204th Air Brigade, as a sign of gratitude for the strengthening of that unit.
 
During today’s visit, after the briefing about the operational capabilities of the 204th Air Brigade, Minister Vulin saw the works on the modernization of the MiG-29 aircraft whose last phase started a few days ago. After the modernization of these aircraft, they will be raised to level 4+ and thus, our sky will be even better guarded and even more secure.
Thanks to the Military Technical Agreement reached by the presidents and supreme commanders Aleksandar Vučić and Vladimir Putin, Serbian Air Force received a large donation in aircraft and their equipment and modernization, which is being implemented in accordance with the programme documents.
