Minister Gašić meets with President of SOPAS Božana Ostojić



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić met today with Božana Ostojić, President of the Serbian Underwater Association (SOPAS). 
During the meeting, SOPAS President Ostojić presented a letter of appreciation to Minister Gašić and the Ministry of Defence in recognition of their support in organizing the World Freediving Indoor Championship and the World Finswimming Indoor Championship. 

Minister Gašić thanked SOPAS for the recognition and emphasized that the Ministry of Defence acknowledges the importance of sports and sports associations in promoting Serbia internationally. 

- The Ministry of Defence will continue to support organizations whose dedication and accomplishments contribute to the promotion of sports and the strengthening of team spirit, as well as to Serbia’s reputation as a reliable host of international competitions – said Minister Gašić.

SOPAS is the highest-level association dedicated to underwater sports in the Republic of Serbia. Its mission is to develop these disciplines through various activities and competitions, while also encouraging children and youth to take up underwater sports.
