Minister Vučević meets with Ambassador of Belarus Brylev
Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Serbia, H.E. Valery Brylev.
At the meeting, Minister Vučević said that Serbia pursued a balanced defence policy, constantly working to improve and develop defence cooperation with all countries and international organizations, in accordance with defined national interests. He underlined that Serbia’s long-term strategic commitment was to keep the neutral country status, without being a member of any of the existing military political organizations.
The Minister of Defence said that the preservation of territorial integrity and sovereignty was one of Serbia’s most vital national interests, and he thanked Belarus for providing continuing support to our country in that regard.
Ambassador Brylev thanked Minister Vučević for the meeting and the opportunity to discuss Serbia-Belarus cooperation. He expressed his expectation that the two countries would continue to improve their overall relations.
