Minister Vulin meets with Ambassador Botsan-Kharchenko




Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin has met with Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko today.
Minister Vulin expressed his gratitude for the support offered by the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia when it comes to preserving territorial integrity and for efforts to find a compromise solution for Kosovo and Metohija.
 
 During the meeting, it was emphasised that the Russian side appreciates the principled policy that the Republic of Serbia runs independently and autonomously, as well as the determination of our country to be militarily neutral.
 
Minister Vulin also informed the guest about the results of his visit to the Russian Federation, the meeting with the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, and about further directions of defence cooperation between the two countries.
 
At the end of today's meeting, they expressed mutual satisfaction with the development of military-technical cooperation, which, with the support of the presidents and supreme commanders of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Serbia, Vladimir Putin and Aleksandar Vučić, respectively, is being operationalised and is successfully taking place between the two ministries.
