Minister Vulin: Before Izetbegović mentions Vučić, he should first say who tried to kill him
- If Bakir Izetbegović had dignity, he would, before mentioning the name of Aleksandar Vučić, tell us who tried to kill him two years ago and first he would have to explain to us how it was possible that someone tried to kill Aleksandar Vučić who came to Srebrenica to bow to the victims of another nation, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin said, commenting on Izetbegović's statement that “Vučić is championing peace while arming himself”.
- Before he even uttered his name, he should have had so much dignity to explain first why he was not with him at that time as a host, and to tell us finally who tried to kill Aleksandar Vučić, Minister Vulin said emphasizing that President Vučić is carrying out a policy of peace.
- I am sorry that he does not have a valid interlocutor in Mr Izetbegović. He should not comment on whether the Serbian Armed Forces are equipping and arming itself because he has no right to do so. We are a neutral nation that, in order to defend and guard itself at the time of trouble, must be ready enough and capable of doing it. No one will come to help us in times of trouble, and Mr Izetbegovic does not have any reason at all or the right to comment on anything that is happening within the Republic of Serbia, the minister of defence said.
According to him, “we refrain from commenting on any internal political relations within Bosnia and Herzegovina, although Serbia, let us not forget, is the guardian of the Dayton Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have the right to take care of Dayton Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we refrain from giving any statements that could hurt anyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, Minister Vulin said, adding that he regrets that Izetbegović does not accept open-heartedly the peace policy of Aleksandar Vučić.
- And just want to ask him - who tried to kill him and to tell him that next time when he thinks to talk about Aleksandar Vučić, he should first answer us and say why he was not with him at that time as a host, the minister of defence said.
