Visit to the Russian Federation




Delegation of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, led by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, is on a visit to the Russian Federation. In the delegation, the Prime Minister is accompanied by Minister of Defence Zoran Đorđević and Minister for Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin. 
 
The topic of the talks with top officials of the Russian Federation is, among other things, military-technical cooperation. 

After the meeting with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Vučić said that it was the matter of weeks when six MiG 29 planes will arrive in Serbia, since it is expected that Putin will soon sign a decree according to which the planes would be quickly transferred to our country.

The Prime Minister said that Putin personally approved all the things from the field of military-technical cooperation, which had previously been agreed with the Russian competent officials, and which was related to 30 armored vehicles, 30 tanks T32 and six MiG 29s.
