Concerts of military bands in Smederevo

Representative orchestra of the Serbian Armed Forces Guard and the Brass band of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia have held concerts at the Smederevo city square this evening.

With a recognizable sound of "March on the Drina", the representative orchestra of the Guard began its parade on Kralja Petra Street in Smederevo and numerous citizens greeted the traditional marches with applause. The parade ended with the song "Stop, stop Ibar water" on the main square, taking sympathy of the assembled audience.

Under the baton of Lieutenant Colonel Dragan Dimitrov and Major Nebojsa Stojiljkovic, the

band of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia performed an unforgettable concert for the citizens of Smederevo in which the melodies from popular film hits, such as "Star Wars", "Dynasty", "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" alternated with songs from the Macedonian national repertoire. Solos of Macedonian military musicians were greeted by applause of the gathered citizens and the most joyful part of the audience at tonight's concert were the youngest inhabitants of Smederevo.

Lovers of good music will also have the opportunity tomorrow in Smederevo to enjoy a joint performance of the Stanislav Binicki Artistic Ensemble and Macedonian brass orchestra from 9 pm in the Small Town of the Smederevo Fortress. In the evening dedicated to film music, under the baton of Vojkan Borisaljevic, performers will be Ana Sofrenovic, Beti Djordjevic, Jadranka Jovanovic, Dejan Cukic, Mina Lazarevic, Ivana Knezevic Uros Kovandzic (violin), Nebojsa Dugalic, Mirjana Stojanovic, Igor Pervic, Slobodan Stefanovic, Dragan Vujic Vujke and Dusica Novakovic.
