Agreement on cooperation between the Military Geography Institute and the Faculty of Civil Engineering signed





Head of the Military Geography Institute, Assistant Professor Colonel Stevan Radojcic and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade, Prof. Branko Bozic signed today the Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the two institutions.

The aim of the Agreement signed at the Military Geography Institute is the development of scientific and technical cooperation, organization of joint research programmes in the area of field research and desk research, development of new research methods, scientific internships for researchers and professional staff, as well as the exchange of teaching experience between the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the MGI.

Colonel Radojcic and professor Bozic stated that the Agreement is a confirmation of decades of good cooperation that is mutually beneficial.

By this Agreement, the two institutions plan to develop cooperation in the field of geodesy and geo-information, particularly from geodetic reference networks, determining the gravitational field, surveying and arranging the territory, photogrammetry and remote sensing, geodetic cartography, and land information systems, geodetic metrology, geodesy in engineering areas and modelling and management in geodesy.
