Chief of General Staff met with Head of Staff of the NATO Allied Joint Force Command Naples



Начелник Генералштаба разговарао са начелником Штаба Команде здружених снага НАТО из НапуљаGenerals Dikovic and Di Marco assessed that the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the NATO Joint Forces in Naples is good, as evidenced by the participation of a member of the Serbian Armed Forces at the partner staff position for the Operational Capabilities Concept.

At the meeting, it was stressed that in the new cycle of engagement of the Republic of Serbia in the Operational Capabilities Concept, an Engineering Company was declared, and that all the units of the Serbian Armed Forces declared in the first round of engagement in this concept had been evaluated as combat ready and trained to carry out tasks in the area of multinational operations under the auspices of the UN and EU.

Discussing the security situation in the region, Generals DikoviНачелник Генералштаба разговарао са начелником Штаба Команде 
здружених снага НАТО из Напуљаc and Di Marco agreed that, to
counter security challenges, risks and threats, and maintain security, cooperation of security institutions of all countries in the region is required.

General Dikovic said that the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR have very good cooperation, and in particular he stressed the importance and responsibility of KFOR for security in Kosovo and Metohija.

Yesterday, General Di Marko attended the ceremony of duty handover of the Head of NATO Military Liaison Office, and today, at the invitation of the Military Academy, he will hold a lecture for students of High Security and Defence Studies and the General Staff course on the topic: "NATO Allied Joint Force Command Naples - current operations and the challenges of the future."
