General Dikovic visits Romania
Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic met yesterday in Bucharest with Chief of General Staff of the Romanian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Nicolae Ionel Ciucă.Generals Dikovic and Ciucă discussed the current political and security situation in the Black Sea and the Western Balkans region, multinational operations, past and upcoming bilateral military cooperation and regional military cooperation.
Serbian Chief of General Staff said that the Serbian Armed Forces sees further improvement of the otherwise good military cooperation with the Armed Forces of Romania in joint training and exercises, exchange of training capacity, in the field of intelligence and reconnaissance activities and exchange of experiences in the preparation for deployment and deployments in multinational operations.
As great examples of cooperation, General Dikovic highlighted the joint exercise of the Serbian and Romanian Air Forces called "Air Solution" and the trilateral exercise "Tisa".Today, the SAF delegation will visit the Air Force Academy and the 2nd Mountain Brigade in Brasov.
