Minister of Defence visiting Armenia
Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic is paying a three-day official visit to the Republic of Armenia at the invitation of Armenian Minister of Defence Colonel General Seyran Ohanyan.On the first day of the visit, Minister Gasic met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Ovik Abramyan with whom he discussed the current situation in the world and the Serbia’s OSCE Chairmanship. They agreed that for the solution of problems in Nagorno-Karabakh area there is no military solution and that overcoming all outstanding issues can only be done through diplomatic means and negotiations, to the benefit and the wellbeing of all actors.
Minister Gasic thanked Armenia for its support it gives Serbia in legitimate efforts to peacefully and diplomatically resolve all outstanding issues in Kosovo and Metohija.

Gasic said.After the talks with Prime Minister of Armenia, the delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces was received by highest leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, who conveyed satisfaction with the opportunity to host the representatives of a friendly people, and close by faith and spirit.
During the visit, it is planned for Minister Gasic to meet with Minister of Defence and other government officials of the Republic of Armenia.
