Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic received today in the Great War Hall of the Old General Staff building, Serbian children from Croatia who have never visited Belgrade and Serbia so far.

Minister Gasic welcomed the group of some thirty children in the "most beautiful country in Europe – Serbia".

- Feel good at the Ministry of Defence building, the building which is home to one of the proudest armies of the world – the one that has produced many great military leaders throughout history, and the one which is among the most respected in the world. At the Military Museum you will be able to see the cultural heritage that the Serbian Armed Forces managed to preserve from oblivion and destruction. The City of Belgrade has always been a good host; you will see all the beauties of the capital, and you should strive to leave part of the culture of your regions from which you are coming to our city, the Defence Minister said and announced that next year most probably more than a thousand children from all over former Yugoslavia will visit Belgrade.

The reception for children was prepared and organized by Metropolitanate of Zagreb and Ljubljana and the City of Belgrade. During the two-day visit they will also be hosted by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Issues and the Ministry of the Interior.
