Regular briefing for foreign military representatives



Head of International Military Cooperation Department Battleship Captain Milan Konjikovac met with doyen and vice-doyen of military diplomatic corps in Belgrade Colonels Jerzy Szczepaniak and Jozef Vistavel, and Vice-president of the Belgrade Association of Military Attaches Colonel Joseph Wojtek.

During the talks, Battleship Captain Konjikovac stressed that the cooperation in the first six months in 2015 had been characterized by constructive dialogue and a high level of realization of planned activities with foreign military attaches.

He informed his interlocutors on the realized activities of international military cooperation after the previous meeting, with special emphasis on the activities in the course of the PfP program and the EU accession process, Serbia’s chairmanship over OSCE and deployment of MoD and SAF members in UN and EU multinational operations.

The interlocutors stressed the importance of continuity of meetings and timely informing about the activities of the international military cooperation.

Head of International Military Cooperation Department particularly thanked the defence attaché of the Republic of Poland, who, in the position of the doyen of the military diplomatic corps and in the six-year mandate of defence attaché had shown his full professional relation and significantly contributed to the improvement of cooperation between the two countries.
