Workshop on expense analysis
A three-day workshop titled “Expense Analysis” has been opened today at the Material Resources Sector in organization of the Budget and Finances Sector and the Institute for Managing Defence Resources from Monterey, USA. The workshop will be attended by members of all MoD organizational units.While opening the workshop, representative of the Assistant Minister for budget and finances Colonel Dr. Sasa Trandafilovic looked back on the present cooperation with the Institute and stressed the importance of workshops “Financial Management”and “Expense Models as a Support of Planning” that had been held in 2014. He stressed that the workshop “Expense Analysis” will be an opportunity to exchange practices and discover solutions in the field of financial management. Colonel Trandafilovic thanked Dijana Andjelis and Bob McNab for the successful cooperation with the Institute, and expressed his belief that the cooperation will continue in the next period as well.
Over the next days, the attendants will discuss measuring performance, budget planning according to the performance, management based on activities and managing efficiency.
