Ceremonial march of Nis Military Orchestra on the occason of the Day of the Armed Forces of Serbia




In the course of marking the upcoming holiday – Day of the Armed Forces of Serbia, Military Orchestra Nis staged a ceremonial march today on the streets of this city, which began with the performance at the Square of King Milan, after which it continued in Obrenoviceva Street and at the Square of King Milan.

Citizens of Nis had the opportunity to enjoy marches: “On the Drina”, “Vojvode Stepe”, “King Aleksandar I”, “1300 Corporals”...

“We are happy to make this day nicer for our citizens this way. Performances of the Military Orchestra Nis were very noted, and it is our pleasure to see the amazement on the faces of our younger and older audiences alike”, conductor of the orchestra Captain Dejan Djorjdevic said.

The Military Orchestra Nis has performed in cities across Serbia, and they have received praises for their last year’s performances at international manifestations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, and at “Spaska Basnja” festival in the Russian Federation.

The Day of the Armed Forces of Serbia is marked with numerous manifestations in cities across the country. On the occasion of this holiday, an exhibition titled “Serbia in the Great War” has been opened at the Military House in Nis.
