Minister Gasic in Kraljevo

Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic visited today members of the Second Army Brigade in Kraljevo and members of the 98th Air Brigade at Morava Airport in Ladjevci.

At Jovan Kursula barracks in Krajevo, Minister and his associates were introduced with the area of responsibility of the Second Army Brigade, the position of units and main tasks for the next period.

At Karapandza training ground, they watched a display of a part of the contents of tactical and technical training of units of arms of service and services of the Second Army Brigade. The display was also attended by Deputy Head of the General Staff of Serbia Lieutenant General Jovica Draganic, Army Commander Major General Milosav Simovic and Second Army Brigade Commander Brigadier General Dragoslav Sladakovic.

Minister Gasic commended the readiness and training of members of the Secnd Army Brigade and stressed that they are among the

members who “carried the greatest load on their back in 2014 while helping civilian residents”.

- You deserve better working and living conditions, and better pay. It is my task, as the Minister of Defence, and the task of the Head of the General Staff and all of us present here to provide you with that – Minister Gasic said.

At Morava Airport, Minister of Defence and Air Force and Air Defence Commander Major General Ranko Zivak visited the 98th Air Brigade. Minister of Defence learned about the tasks and purposes of the unit and the results of its work from Commander of the 98th Air Brigade Colonel Aleksandar Bjelic.
