Meeting of the Work team for organizational changes at the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia
Today, at the Topcider House of the Guard, a meeting was held of the Work team for analysis of present state of the defence system and suggesting measures and plan for organizational changes with new normative and doctrinal solutions, formed by Minister of Defence. The meeting was headed by Secretary of State Zoran Djordjevic.Activities conducted by the Work team are adherent to the Initiative for rationalization of public management, conducted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government. The Ministry of Defence will continue conducting reforms and reorganization, in order to unify capacities and optimize organizational structures.
Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia support the measures conducted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia with the goal of achieving rationalization of usage of budgetary means.
The planned organizational changes will be adherent to the Long-term Plan of development of the defence system of the Republic of Serbia, Strategic defence overview and Program of development of the defence system.
