Certificates of Military Quality Control awarded
Organisations that shared their commitment to improving the quality of their business with the Military Quality Control of the Material Resources Sector of the Ministry of Defence, as a certification body for the integrated management systems (IMS) of quality were awarded certificates today in the House of Guard in Topcider.
Director of the Military Quality Control Colonel Ivica Marjanovic pointed out that in the period from 2012 to the present the number of certified IMS evaluators tripled.
- Military quality control entered the past year with very ambitious plans which, in addition to regular duties on ensuring the quality of arms and military equipment and certification, were mainly implemented. Although the impact of quality standards on everyday activities in the implementation of tasks and assigned missions of the defence system is often imperceptible, they provide a huge contribution to all aspects of our life and work, the Director of the Military Quality Control said.
After the certification procedure had been completed, and on the proposal of the Commission, Colonel Marjanovic made the decision to award certificates to certain organisations. Among them there are the Military Medical Academy, "Prva Iskra - Namenska" Ltd, Baric, Military Technical Institute and others. This year's winner of the Academy Award for Quality 2014 was "Prvi Partisan" Ltd. Uzice.
Military Quality Control is an internal organizational unit of the Ministry of Defence Material Resources Sector, responsible for planning, organizing and quality assurance of material resources in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces. It provides and controls quality of movable assets in all phases of the product life cycle, from its development through serial production to disposal of the product from the defence system.
