Seminar on intellectual property management within the defence system



Семинар о управљању интелектуалном својином у систему одбранеThe three-day seminar in the course of the project “Building institutional policy model for intellectual property management in the defence system” financed by the European Commission within TAIEX program (special department within the Chief Directorate for European Commission Enlargement) began today at the Central Military Club of Serbia.

Organizer of the seminar is the Department for Strategic Planning of the Sector for Defence Policy which had suggested and initiated this project two years ago, over the Directorate for Project Management of the Budget and Finances Sector.

Семинар о управљању интелектуалном својином у систему одбранеParticipants of the seminar from the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia will be presented with practices in managing intellectual property by experts from the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom Gareth Jones and Bevan Brownhill. The program includes lectures from experts from the United Kingdom and representatives of the Department for Strategic Planning, and expert talks about certain matters from the field of protection and intellectual property management.

The goal of the project is to regulate intellectual property management at the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia, particularly in institutions of higher educations or scientific research, organizational units that are directly involved in procurement and sales, defence industry companies which conduct tasks concerning research and development, procurement and sales, technology transfer and production.
