Analysis of the military parade "March of the Victorious"
At the Guard House in Topcider, an analysis was held today of the military parade “March of the Victorious”, which was attended by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic and Head of the General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic with associates, and commanders of the echelons and sub-echelons that were included in this ceremony’s organization.
On behalf of the parade command, Deputy Commander Major General Vojin C. Jondic assessed that the task of the parade organization was executed successfully. He added that security risks were brought to a minimum during the parade, that there were no unplanned occurrences or events hazardous to people’s lives and health, and no damages of military and civilian equipment.
Addressing the gathered higher staff, Minister Gasic expressed his gratitude to those that helped with their hard work and dedication for the “March of the Victorious” parade to be successfully executed, which at the same time tells of their great love for Serbia and the Armed Forces of Serbia.
- We used the opportunity that presented itself after 29 because we were a team, we equally love our Armed Forces and we all wanted to present ourselves in the most positive light = Minister Gasic stated, adding that this fact is the more confirmed by the impressions of the guests, visitors and the viewing audience across our country.
Today’s gathering was also a chance to analyze practices, issues and the ways of their resolution in preparations and execution of the “March of the Victorious” parade, and to give suggestions for improving organization of such or similar ceremonies in the future. Echelon and sub-echelon commanders and members of the parade command agreed in assessing the high level of cooperation and coordination among all participants, while the short time period for the preparation of the ceremony was stated as a limiting circumstance.
