Donation to a preschool facility in Obrenovac

Preschool Facility “Zeka” from Obrenovac opened its doors to the youngest again, after a several month break due to floods in May. Aid to the preschools, recently promised by Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic while the military was deployed in clearing up the city, was today handed to the children by State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic on Minister’s behalf. The donation consists of “Pertini” toys.

- Children’s laughter in the facility and the entire city show that life slowly comes back to normal. The children are the proof of it all, and I am glad that they received their presents with such joy. I hope they will enjoy – State Secretary Djordjevic said, wishing them to forget the hardships that had recently fallen upon the city as soon as possible with their new toys.

Mayor of Obrenovac Miroslav Cuckovic thanked the Ministry of defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia whose members were with the people of Obrenovac in the days of the disaster, stressing that, without their engagement, the city would not be as it was today.

- The Armed Forces continue taking care of Obrenovac and, thus show that, together with socially responsible companies like Pertini, they can bring joy to the children of Obrenovac – Cuckovic said.

Pertini Company’s spokesperson Milica Saponjic reminded that this company was among the first ones to give out toys to the youngest at collection centers immediately after the floods.

Pertini Company has donated toys for four children care centers in Obrenovac in the worth of 200,000 dinars.
