Implementation of new regulations in the field of transportation and transport
Today, in the Annex Hall of the Topcider House of Guards, a briefing was held on implementing new regulations in the field of transportation and transport at the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia. The meeting, which was organized by the Department for General Logistics at the Material Resources Sector of the Defence Ministry and the Logistics Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Serbia, gathered members of the defence system of the transportation profession, and those employed in functions of transportation and transport.According to Colonel Zeljko Rankovic, PhD, Head of the Sector for Transportation and Logistics at the General Logistics Department, the goal of today’s meeting was to inform the commands, units and institutions on commitments and procedures stemming from the two secondary legislation acts – the Code on Safety of Military Participants in Transportation and the Code on Transportation of Dangerous Load at the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia.
On this occasion, Colonel Rankovic pointed out that the field of segments of transportation in the defence system has been rounded off normatively and legally and defined by passing the mentioned acts. He also brought the participants’ attention to novelties brought about by the said acts.
