Meeting of the Defence Minister and the Ambassador of Azerbaijan



Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan Eldar Hasanov. Minister Gasic thanked for that country’s help in flood relief, pointing out:

Састанак министра одбране и амбасадора Азербејџана“I am using this opportunity, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and the Republic of Serbia, to thank President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan for their support and help during the floods that have befallen the Republic of Serbia.”

Ambassador Hasanov stressed that Azerbaijan would continue building solid political and economic relations with Serbia, which they perceive as a leader in the region.

At the meeting, it has been concluded that the relations between the two countries are friendly and without open issues. The cooperation that has been particularly intensified in the last three years has also opened great possibilities for the advancement of cooperation in the field of defence.
